JPJ has integrated the PDRM (Royal Malaysia Police) database with the VEP portal. If you have outstanding Saman, here is what happens:
To unblock your VEP renewal, you must pay your outstanding summons via the MyJPJ app or at official payment counters. Once paid, the PDRM database is updated and the block on your VEP renewal is lifted, typically within 24-48 hours. After clearance, you can proceed with your VEP renewal as normal.
