• Clean the Surface Thoroughly: Before sticking the tag, clean the inside of your windscreen with an alcohol wipe or glass cleaner to remove any dust or oily residue. A clean surface ensures a strong bond.
• Place it on the Inside: This may seem obvious, but the tag must always be stuck on the interior of the windscreen, facing outwards.
• Avoid the Tint Strip: If your windscreen has a dark tint strip along the top edge, place the tag just below it. Sticking it on the tint can weaken the signal.
• One Shot Only: The RFID tag is designed to break upon removal. You only get one chance to stick it on correctly. Measure twice, stick once!
