A clean windscreen and proper tag maintenance can prevent frustrating scan failures and costly replacements.

The area around your RFID tag is crucial for a clear signal.

• Regular Cleaning: Make it a habit to clean the inside and outside of your windscreen regularly, especially the top-left corner where your tag is located. Dust, grime, and water spots can all interfere with the signal.
• Use the Right Cleaner: Opt for an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth. Ammonia can potentially damage some window tints and leave residues.
• Gentle Wiping: When cleaning the area directly over and around the tag, wipe gently. Avoid excessive pressure or abrasive materials that could scratch the tag.
• Avoid Direct Sprays: Spray the cleaner onto your cloth first, then wipe the glass. This prevents excess liquid from seeping under the edges of the tag.

• Do NOT Peel or Try to Re-stick: The tag is designed to be tamper-proof. Any attempt to remove or re-stick it will destroy the internal antenna, rendering it useless.
• Do NOT Scratch or Puncture: Be careful when loading items into your car or cleaning. A deep scratch can sever the antenna.
• Do NOT Apply Other Stickers Over It: This will block the signal.
